Still deciding if I'm buying if buying a hard copy or digitally, but at least I know now that there is a African music shop that can send to me that's based in this country.

Unless you can buy it in lossless format, choose the CD. The difference of quality on good Hi-Fi systems is noticeable. Since I have an iPod and tried connecting it to the Hi-Fi I know this. From that source you can always convert your mp3, but from mp3 you cannot make quality material to feed a good Hi-Fi.

By the way: Ivoirerecords and Panafricanallstars are also located in the US and has big selection of Congolese albums.

If I'm going to digitally buy music its through Itunes and when I plug it it to a car or a speaker its just as loud as a CD.

I know but the car speaker is very different than a high detail Hi-Fi. You can never know, maybe in the future you will obtain such a system, and then the mp3 will show its weekness. It is a compressed format, and on speakers that are meant to project with much detail, segments will be missing from the spectrum, and you will hear it. It doesn't have to do anything with how serious you are about the quality of recordings, it is pure physics. Mp3 is meant for lower detail systems, like Hi-Fi mini towers, pc speakers, portable players and car. 

However If you purchase from iTunes, maybe they offer lossless format, I am not sure. I rarely purchase digitally.
