Damn, he's a good soloist,check how he plays effortlessly! It's a shame that he's been forced to do this, he says he never wanted to do this but was enraged when he saw a recent extract of a guitar tutorial dvd on which Flamme was featured and showed Flamme giving the world lessons on guitar partitions that are not his. I think the tutorial is the recent one by Jeannot Bell at Prosmart Studios in London,it also has the likes of Popolipo and many other legends.

But Flamme received help from others too like his brother Zing, but I also believe that he did not create every single lead partition for Flamme no way I know Flamme created some from himself by being inspired by Onesime and others. Based on my understanding,Flamme Kapaya like we've always said learnt guitar quite late and mostly from his older brother Zing that is why he was mainly on rhythm guitar when Maison Mere started. As this man has said, Werrason told Kapaya that on Solola Bien he would take lead but Kapaya was inexperienced so he couldn't create much on his own so he sought the help of this man who was close with Kapaya's older brother, this man recorded a whole cassette with guitar partitions and asked Kapaya to choose whichever he wanted and Kapaya did just that, all that was for free and this man wasn't bothered really as he saw Kapaya as one of his own creations, this man is simply incensed that Kapaya has gone on to create a dvd tutorial with some guitar partitions which are not originally his and he's not credited the original creator and that is wrong, he could have created the tutorial with his own material especially since he never paid this man.

Unlike lyrics or full songs which musicians buy and those lyrics and songs become theirs, it is different with guitar works, i cannot steal a solo signature partition by Felly Tyson and play it on my song or JB Mpiana's song or post a video showing how to play that partition, if you follow these tutorials you will find that Domingo Mbetenge also took to task one user on youtube(guitarOps) for teaching people how to play his SWI  generique partitions,Mbetenge added by saying the guy was misrepresenting and showing the world wrong notes etc .

Just a few give credit to those who helped them be what they are. The Singers are the worst...they don’t even mention those who composed the music, wrote the lyrics and corrected all the grammatical and orthographic errors for them. During interviews, you will hear things like...when I composed this, when I wrote this, when I created that, etc. Some of them do nothing in the studio.

Yes he was inexperienced at the time and another fact in rhythm guitar he was even worse but still I think not every partition Flamme played was created by him no come on I think about it he only played two partitions of Cresois towards the end how about the beginning, I just think he took some and became inspired by what he took and created his own as well and don't believe that lazy and create nothing and once again he was not the only guitarist helping what about if took some of his brother or Japonias you never know but yes if he gave him credit with helping becoming what he is today would have been better, you see where I'm coming from SLY

Yes you're correct Newside, he had to modify and add some of his own work but still he had to credit the original composer that's how it is in such kind of works, it's like in Universities, if you use someone else's work or modify it,you need to credit the original author be it a definition of something even if you read it in 2 different books but as Djodjo has said, it never happens in Congolese music or we say african music because i know some Zambian musicians who have made hits with copied beats done by 2 Face Idibia and others and when the songs were heard by the concerned artists, the Zambian musicians were warned to pay millions of dollars or get sued, it never went further so it's why our musicians take advantage.
