just had a little chat with mpiano himself and he said that sound was raw like when biloko and kiyunguzuna first leaked back then and he will be in paris in next few days so they will do a proper mixing and correcting a few things at studio palais des congres,but still did i tell him about the criticism hopefully he'll take it into account
then the final version will be associate with clip and released for christmas and new year parties
The sound is not a major problem as it's only the drums which are inaudible, everything else is perfect where sound is concerned, we can even here the shaker perfectly, the actual problem with the generique is the arrangement, it's rubbish, the best part of the generique is where the solo guitar starts but then it starts after 2 minutes then lasts another 2 minutes before the tempo and rhythm changes completely with the ataluku just shouting randomly.
Where sound is concerned, there is little that can be done if the recording was done poorly especially the downmixing so unless the rough copy is in a format where the mixing engineer can still separate the audio channels ie drums, solo guitar, rhythm guitar, vocals individually it's a difficult task to correct the suppressed drums depending on how the recording was done, maybe the drum microphones were bad so that can't be corrected after recording.
