One thing I like about 33 Tshitenge is his great knowledge about the history of Congolese music and bands and his professionalism, he conducts his interviews very well.

I think bula was more close to emeneyas voice. About him forming a band, makaba congrats. We need serious music.

What Makaba means is the singing voice not the actual style of singing. Between Blaise, Werra and JB,the person who sings more in Kester's style is Blaise and Werra is a bit close too, JB's style is that of the late Dindo Yogo and If you listen to Makaba's album Pile Ou Face you realise how smart Makaba is, he had Kester, JB and Dindo on the same album and when the album hit the airwaves it was a bit hard to tell who was singing between JB,Dindo and Kester on some songs till some of us realised that Makaba had worked with all 3 and then we were able to note the differences in the vocals on the album.

voila no wonder those three are among makaba's top 5 and if there is somebody who knows jb's voice better than  even himself its makaba
indeed 33 is a very good journalist questions always prepared before, he is well informed,actually him and paulin mukendi are the most "feared" journalists by musicians,they know they  wont be afraid to tell their flaws,mistakes and so on
i have heard makaba hopes to reunite fally ferre and i think manda chante in one futurealbum,good luck lol so far both have always refused to be in a same album so wont be easy,unless makaba does one of those "all stars" 16 minutes songs where each artist has like one minute

Indeed, Paulin is another serious professional journalist and he smiles less too, he takes no nonsense in interviews.

Ferre and Fally on the same song at the same time, I don't see it happening, Makaba will struggle unless as you say its an all star song where musicians come and go one by one and their voices.

I'll add Luciana in that list...there is song in Pile ou Face,Chance, where when I was younger thought it was Luciana in the background singing"Yahweh...Oh Yahweeh" then I realised it was JB but was stil doubting

Yes, Luciana is also on the song Chance but his voice is quite unique, he doesn't sound like any of the 3 we've mentioned. Luciana is a refined and more clear version of Jypson Butukondolo and Rio Kazadi,he can sing solo vocals very well and even when his voice is suitable for choruses.

after that interview makaba had another one where he was clearly asked what he thinks of jb and werra in their career after him, he laughed and said "should i be totally honest" and went on to say he does not agree with those who think werra is a bad singer,but he thinks its clear that having become wealthy fast made him become lazy in singing and same for jb, and he added that its a shame for jb because  even during what we considered as his peak his singing was nowhere near the level he could have reached because he trained a lot with jb off stage and he knows his potential better than anyone and same for werra,but just said werra's voice is not adapted to high notes so maybe thats why sometimes people question his singing
as for whether he would accept to work with any of them in the future he said no problem but they will have to let him control totally artistic direction like he used to do

Talking of sounding like Emenyea, I also had that taste but could not tell what it was.
