genta is from both lol  he grew up in both areas due to divorce of his parents so he learned animation in ngiri ngiri and also in bana odeon of kintambo

As much as I love Bill I call him the most influential animator but he is not the king that is a fact

i agree most influential but its very difficult to name him above everybody,because many atalakus did extermely well over the decades
its a bit like football,people who seriously followed football from the last years might say messi or cristiano are the best ever,older ones maradona or pele or the other ronaldo,zidane ....too much talent to single out somebody clearly
but he does have a unique improvisation talent and creativity in terms of language for sure
i am sure some other have that in them aswell but bill had the chance of having a good coach who also was in the situation of having to prove a massive point so he pushed bill extra extra hard and got the best out of him

Gentlemen, I love sebene and I like to hear and scrutinise every aspect of it so I maintain that Bill is and remains the King of atalukus and they all know that.
Yes, a few good atalukus have popped up all trying to imitate either Bill or Celeo and been successful but that's just about it, they've not been consistent.

Werrason never brought out the best of Bill, all the generiques in Wenge Musica Maison Mere and later Wenge Maison Mere of Werrason were credited to Bill apart from Solola Bien which was probably wrongly credited to Werrason. It is Bill who created the stuff and that is why he led, most of it was actually in his native tshiluba language mixed with a bit of lingala. Werrason being a former ataluku may have told him to add a few lines from the album Bouger Bouger on the album Intervention Rapide but that's about it.

Why most people think Bill is not successful now is not because of his animation but the way he arranges his generiques, though they are powerful, he complicates them by having too many parts and changes and stops so difficult to dance to sometimes.

Listen to his duet with Roga Roga( Tindika Pousou) and tell me which ataluku has ever done such kind of animation if you think he's finished, even the extract of his latest Stroboscopie sounds good.

I said Bill is the god of atalukus not God. There are too many gods and Lords but as a true christian and student of the bible I know that our supreme God has a name, his name is Jehovah,there is no one above him.

masta sly what i mean by getting the best out bill is the fact werra  wanted him to create something different for caludji,when bill was outside maison mere and went by the name he was pretty much a caludjist especially with rumour that he was providing most of caludji's animation
bill himself once said in an interview that him and werra could spend a whole day trying to "force" him to develop that ability of doing different and the example from operation dragon to tindika lokito prove a bit what i am saying
it started from developing his tshiluba animation skills then it completely exploded

No i understand what you mean masta na ngai archos, it's the other fellas who keep insinuating that Bill is finished. In as far as i know, Bill just gives Werrason respect for his convenience as he doesn't want to fall out with Bana La Zamba and Maison Mére fans across the world. He knows Werrason is deeply loved and cross paths with his fans is calling for trouble because unlike Ferre, he needs their support, Ferre has carved out a different path and has his own huge following that is why he's able to go tit for tat with Werrason as he doesn't care but Bill has to be cautious otherwise from his speech in older interviews you can tell that there is literally nothing that Werra can teach him or get out of him, the man creates himself, the music is in him.
