Till this day I wonder how Viva didn't bring big stars (meaning after leaving starting a solo career) they have so much talent: Patcheko, Bendo, Christian Lema and co. what a team
I believe it's because of the style of music played by Viva which is old skool and no longer popular otherwise if you look at the current leading musicians including session musicians, they have their roots in Viva or were inspired by clan Viva or Papa Wemba.
The other obvious reason is the age, character and outward appearance, charisma and even dancing skills of musicians from clan Viva, most were simply singers who cared less about dancing and looking good despite Papa Wemba being the so called father of La Sape.
The Viva generation which promises stars is that of ''Bana Malongi'' comprising the likes of Echappé who is with Ferre and others young ones left with Papa Wemba.
