the thing that Ferre said about double-cd albums is not true. In the albums Affaire d'Etat, Temps Present, Arsenal des Belles Melodie, Attentat, Effrakata, Longue Histoire, etc. they finished all the clips of the songs from the album.

It's not actually copying as such. From a business point of view, Ferre has solidified his position as the what is called ' market challenger' whilst the 'market leader' is Fally Ipupa. In simple terms what this means is that Ferre is not a risk taker and that limits his success especially at international level, he prefers to watch Fally take risks and then he observes the weaknesses of Fally and tries to capitalise on them but unfortunately, Fally's 'investments' have always paid off, he's been laughed at by many including myself for not being authentic simply because he's tried out too many different things but he's not looked back, he's stuck to what he likes and now far ahead of his competitors.

Ferre's position as market challenger is good in some way and it's the reason why he's in a unique position,his strategy is to challenge Fally and Werrason and it explains why he stays relevant on the scene,it's not easy introducing something new especially in Congolese music. The method Ferre uses is what has been used in Congolese music for the last 20 years,it works even though it shows Ferre to lack confidence.

I guess he's made his money and he lacks competition himself because Fally does not compete with anyone,he just does his own thing leaving Ferre to start competing with Wenge Maison Mere and to be honest, Ferre is capable of silencing Maison Mere clean because he has all the resources,all he needs is to work with good arrangers. It's high time some of these young musicians started with experienced Arrangers like Al Nzimbi, Sec Bidens etc, these two Arrangers know what music is about, most of the other young Arrangers are monotonous.

Yeah. Yesterday i listened to most of Wenge Maison Mere's albums, i was left wondering why who the ingrate is between Werra and his his former musicians especially Ferre and Bill and to some extent Adjani, they did so much work for Werrason and don't deserve the bullshit they get from La Zamba.

Sly, I concur with you and I have told you before. Ferre has the capacity to be number one even ahead of Fally. The problem is the way he arranges his music. When its sebene, he has a style which is boring......, sounding the same all the time and poorly arranged. Coming to ballads, he sings alone and only has the acoustic sound on the song. That voice of ferre if put on well arranged songs and supported by many voices like he did in Vita Imana Remix, then he can do it.

Lastly, he pisses me off just like JB does. The two are too talented but lazy.

Kibuisa was done with the help of  ferre and other first generation of MM musicians,  hence why the follow up of Werra next solo album was average.....I'm also still waiting
