Here is what is sad. Despite that my french is bad at best, Werrason's french is just as bad as mine if not in some cases worse. You can see that he did not want to speak it but he had no choice. Sad thing, I can speak better speech of french than Werra himself. Werrason is a Lingala man.
I found a video on Facebook. I hope you can find it.

This problem is not only the case for werrason.

Majority of congolese artist only speak in lingala. And i notice that when a french/english reporter speak with them , they can not speak well. It's a problem because if you whant succes you need to speak at less french and a little bit of english see fally he managed to be international because he can speak enough in both language , and is invited in America or in France in high places..

Now i found it more shocking with people like big leaders because they knew how to speak these language and they have forgotten.

If you have fan in all over the world , but they can't understand you or you can't communicate with them it's a problem .

Its a matter of practising,if you see guys who are really fluent like koffi, wazekwa, jossart, kibens and co its either guys who have studied in europe or guys who have carried a constant practice of that language
in some other african francophone countries there is also that "problem" of an extreme majority of time of using national languages(which is not a bad thing) at expense of french,so you find guys who have studied in french, got diplomas in french but still cant speak well to save their lives lol
