that happens a lot,there was for example in end of 2013  a crop of quartier latin singers who wanted to try their luck in maison mere and they got caught and taken back to latino,but their treatment changed they were not getting salary anymore and most of them left around same time as kanza

yes,some fans saw them near la zamba talking in a bar and put pressure on them(i wont be surprised if they made the guys pay to "promise them silence" over that)
