At these times or going towards in 2005 most artist performed at Fikin from Werra, JB, Koffi to Reddy and etc. but what exactly happened with the friendly competition that turned bitter towards Wenge BCBG vs Wenge Musica Maison Mere and later on Maison Mere vs Quartier Latin.






Good performances by all groups especially BCBG's performance

The behaviour of police was unprofessional, people would have died en mass. Too many things came up, issues of tribalism and all that with JB claiming authorities were siding with Werra because it's only BCBG's show which was disrupted by police when BCBG and Maison Mere were playing at the same time and either band refused to "retire" earlier than the other.

yeah there was  big mistake there and indeed from governement to the poorest people of drc almost everybody was either for jb or for werra and the tribal factor played a big role aswell
the "good thing" about this incident is that it gave both  a wake up call to realise they were first and foremost friends because it could have been a massive massive drama if somebody died it would have ended in something uncontrollable between fans of both camps

Indeed. I remember at the time Ya Andre Kimbuta and JB's relationship got strained, good they worked things out in the end since we hear JB mentioning Vieux Kimbuta in his songs. 

Werrrason was really angry against Jo-K for using Wenge Maison Mere's concert at Fikin on the Vodacome-side when they were attacked by the police in Wenge-BCBG's dvd of Fikin 2005(which is true).

Werrason is complaining that he underwent the same situation 2 years before like J.B., but didn't denouce it like him,etc. (It's because of this incident that he attacked J.B. in the Temoinage-album with "Muana mobali alelaka te"
