OMG! there's a flood of talent in DRC it's unbelievable but obviously Mangoma is proven and very good guitarist

He went to Europe early, i hope he plays on CD's too coz at the moment he just seems to do session work for the likes of Aimelia, Awilo and others who regularly play to mainly non Africans at explosive concerts in Europe. You would be amazed if you watch the dvd's how the likes of Awilo and Aimela wow the crowds,it leaves you wondering why Europe based musicians from top Kinshasa bands are wasting their talent when there is potential to make money in Europe. These guys could even be doing their own Zenith shows, imagine bands like Les Chics Men or Popolipo's band playing at Zenith etc

I see what you mean SLY but sometimes I think the soloist in Europe get a bit of creativity block hence why they repeat lots of old things but in Congo more creativity but speaking of income yes Europe is the place to be even North America

Sly now that you mention Les Chics Men and Popolipo, how do I get their works? There are lots of acts from Congo that I dont seem to access, you would imagine they are either underground artists or non-commercial.
