VERT VERT TOLEKA BY AIMÉ BUANGA AND HIS WENGE MUSICA KUMBELA

Am sure those who know the history of Wenge Musica know that Aime Buanga was one of the founding fathers of Wenge. This remains a powerful album especially for those who love sebene. The sound is perfect. The album has 11 songs more than half of the songs have sebene!!!

It's unfortunate a lot of the guys who put out excellent music in the 90's & 2000's got little to no shine and have since been largely forgotten.

I have his other album "Engombi" playing frequently. Great sebenes and great sound for the time even though it was recorded in Kin live. Japonais, Kester, Luciana, Mboshi Lipasa featured. 

Another one ive been playing  lately is called piece rare. Engobi is powerful i dont know whats going on, why he hasnt produced anything.

Engombi is another powerful one i like though i have lost it.

It's really sad. I think promotion lacks.

If i remember well he's now got his own recording studio so probably concentrating on his job as sound engineer ad probably as Artistic Director during recording of various artist who go to his studio.

He's doing fine then i suppose,at least better than releasing his own  albums which don't sell.
