I can see  people complaining of the costs gobbled so far in trying to ''polish'' up the capital,our african leaders are full of sh..t.

I can assure you the benefit of his visit outweighs the inconvenience he comes with. Kenya is at the right stage to take off as the economic powerhouse in east and central Africa and probably Africa and wht we need is just little impetus to realise that. Obama's entourage contains about 30 American billionaires looking to make local partership with young inovators and entrepreneurs. This is employment creation and economic jab.

This lady once picked him up in an old VW when Obama came to Kenya looking for his fathers origin. Now later...she rides with him in his motorcade..
She was also Michelle's bridesmaid.

I find it very honorable that Obama decided to pay such an official visit to Kenya before his mandate ends. It is a nice guesture for his place of origin. Even if it causes troubles in transport and freezes the country for a while, it is something big. The child of an African nation returns home as the president of the leading country in the world. It is an important step for Africa. It would have been a mistake not to do this visit.

Exactly, I tend to believe that its by his influence that global entrepreneurship summit was brought to Kenya just to give him proper reazn to visit. Kenya becomes the second country after Morocco to host this summit in Africa. I believe this was deliberate for Kenya to host it before South Africa.
