this was my big disappointment with that album,the drums were too soft and too electronic aswell while on the other massive album of that year loi it was that "brutal" drum song we enjoy in lives

It was because they thought that using electronic drums was "danze", like artists of nowadays who are using Coupe-Decale and Afrobeat beats in their songs or generics. Feux de l'Amour is not the only album with electronic drums, Pleins Feux of Wenge and Jamais Sans Nous of Zaiko are also albums with electronic drums

No, it's just that studio IAD of Brazzaville had that drum-sound. The sound many drums had in the 80's. Pas de Faux Pas is the only album with Magie where Koffi didn't use those electronic drums.
