Basically in my opinion it was strategic beef for fought by Koffi to get more attention and gain dominance from artists he though that were major threats towards his stardom, plus JB at the time was dominating with close rival Werrason in the Wenge beef so it was a perfect opportunity for Koffi to get more attention so he started it off since 1998 and then the explosion in 2001.

i see this in three steps, the first is jb/wemba vs koffi/werra indirectly,,then second step is the beef around bercy third is the recent one
and if we look at things well,jb koffi friendship is not really "natural",if look at the cold relationship between werra and koffi,you'll see that despite it both still respect each other a lot and sometimes mention each other
jb and koffi really became close when they became "neighbors" whereas werra koffi its not far from 30 years
i think the reason latino musicians have a special "love" for jb is that most were wenge admirers,and lets be honest jb is a bit more open than werra,all the ex latino singers went at bcbg concerts at least once,werra is open aswell but it seems he likes to keep some "distance "

JB does not give plastic smiles that's why, he has genuine love that's why his nicknames make sense. These guys were forced to insult JB because then they were just young men trying to set up their careers and had nothing. It was the same even for JB's musicians, they were forced to be responding.

hahahaha that part when he could not rehearse with the rest at koffi's house because they were hungry and he dared to go speak with aliya and ask for food as musicians were hungry and it did not please koffi so he was sidelined,and also when passe kosse said jordan is lucky that he does not flirt with dancers or it would have been a golden opportunity to get rid of him quickly
