90 artists of several types were honoured by ministry of culture with medals, jb and werra got sliver medals and they wonder why "only" that after all they did in our music and is it that they just automatically gave the bigger medals to older guys than them
but as usual since almost one years now,its twisted as they are unhappy only because koffi received gold like shown in this video

Koffi got his own ceremony with all his colleagues for his accomplishments and service. There's no denying the amount of contribution he's made in popularizing Congolese music, but other artists have also contributed greatly and merit the same honor.

Jb is right questioning whether the silver medal is for years of service in music or amount of contributionto music. Either way they've been producing music for 30 years and been among the top contributors since. Its an insulting gesture to them. 

Who let Koffi know that his haircut is acceptable    He's had it for some time now.

Were where they in 1978 when Koffi was voted as best songwriter of the year, were where they when Koffi was making hits Diva, Ngobila, l'Homme de la Rue, Apolosto Ya Bolingo, Dieu Voit Tout, Farousci, etc. dit batika biloba loba. Koffi was doing well after 20 years of music-carrier and still doing well(like Franco who reigned 33 years non-stop till his death), while these boys are already slowing down since 7 years....

ndeko,nobody between them said it was because of koffi  and knowing how jb talks straight when angry he'd have said clearly he felt neglected compared to artist x or y ,its pure street interpretation,and its not their fault they were born later,and i doubt koffi received the medals for the last years(proof with ya jossart who went missing for years in europe or evoloko and bozi who did not make huge stuff either for a while but got medals),remember the period of maisha,when only  the bercy men were allowed to see president face to face
this means people reckon that those four guys are in the class of their own
also if you listen to what blaise and some other guys said  its only the older guys  who received biggest medals which means technically outside of that criteria werra and jb deserved it and that they should not be angry because maybe in the next edition they'll become the older guys who get priority for bigger medals
i'd understand how harshly people are criticizing them if it was fally or ferre instead of them but come on,lets not have short memory,jb and werrra did some massive massive stuff and i can even say that they pushed koffi to continue working hard  until the current period where all of them are getting old and  relying on periodic buzz rather that constant top top level concerts and whole albums

Jb should be the last person to complain..........what has he really done after the album TH......all he has been doing is release beer promos. He has done very little to energise his career by sticking aground with unproductive artists. Werrason and koffi on the other hand have feilded the most talented artists. Complain when you deserve to JB.

Completely correct, I thought JB & Werra deserved for what they have done especially in exterior countries the two even impacted Clan Langa Langa (Nouvelle Ecrita, Quartier Latin and others) trying to have a Wenge image and yes Koffi no argument he deserved it real legend plus Fally and Ferre in my opinion could have at-least got the two have tried and succeeded to keep Congolese music relevant and they have.
