this was just after the release of Madilu's album Pouvoir. In this interview he's talking about his friend Pepe Kalle who died one year before and that a collaboration was planned with him in Madilu's album.  He's also talking about how patient you must be sometime in your life, how much Franco hated him in his first months in OK Jazz and how he almost left the band, before his fame. Beside of that he also explained his sitituation in the last months of OK Jazz, why he wasn't accepted in Bana Ok and how he started his solo-carreer.

Madilu's first and only album with a generique; a very good one at that. Excellent album Pouvoir was/is, with assistance of Shiko and coco Nyboma. It's interesting to note that Nyboma participated in each of Madilu's solo albums.

Interesting, I wasn't aware that Franco initially disliked Madilu; I do however remember some jealousy from older members who disliked when Madilu became Franco's preferred singer following the first few hits with Madilu vocals.
