Time, and space have changed they need to make money and not making music works to prove they are the best in the game, after all with several golden awards does he needs to prove anything? Let the young Congolese musicians do the same.

Koffi Olomide has played with a lot of minds of artists in congo. He killed the sebene and everyone started following. Now that he has noticed fally ipupa has brought back the sebene, he has switched hands again. I see now a situation were sebenes will be back. Its a good move though.

the guy is just an opportunist  who know when and how to get fans to like his music. in fact to me a think  he has no style other than tchatcho .. the koffi from ngouda ,coucou  ( golden stars with a bit of viva la musica )  is different from the koffi with nobless oblige, to loi and droit de veto (wenge latino 4x4),  koffi from  atenta  to danger de mort (wenge maison mere).... and now that  coupe decale came , he introduced in his sebene and almost all the songs with sebene , it worked with the first album(bek) but became monotonous with the rest of the albums.  to me , i think he only take other people  idea  and adapt them to his way and vision .

wazekwa came with his own style of sebene and you know what koffi did to wazekwa .. if remember well , he played Bek with most of wazekwa  musicians. and you can even feel  cultura vibe in bek sebenes.
fally came with orgazy , koffi came with katagourouma..   the guy is just smart   but not creative enough.  to me he should have stick to his old tchatcho style . we would always love his music. 

You are absolutely correct! This is what made him to stay in the game for more than three decades! He is the architecture of the Tchacho and that is his brand he can only cherish. But he has been smart by blending it from season to season from time to time with what is buzzing the Congolese music and in most cases he has been doing extremely very well and own what were invented by others.

In international markets they even tend to associate new sebene, dancing styles with him, but alas! there are invisible men behind. And he has been top of the game because of strategic skills, reading the market and fit in appropriately, we may not blame him, we should blame his cunnings , and yet he is the good singer and best manager and administrator and entrepreneur enshrined with so many  golden medals, awards, that is him Quadra KorA man. Young guys could learn a lot from Papa Mopao success strory.
 

Slightly tolerable than the first version although still childish for a man of his capacity and status especially age.
