Yep Soyons Sèrieux it is to me the best if not one of the best album by Papa Chèrie great generique and even greater Rumbas the only thing I didn't like is the song by Seguin, Roger Ngandu and Sassoko I feel like they were on the wrong side of things

i dont think roger ngandu  song  was bad. To me its one of the best songs  on the album.  The one that i dislike  is maitre ficares song.

the ficarre song was not done "seriously",they rushed it  because there was pressure to release but the song in itself is actually decent

Come on Mbua, or even the Eric Menthe song or Sassoko even though is terrible are over and over Roger Ngandu's song and then why the hell Roger Ngandu writes songs in BCBG? I mean artists need to be artists and so why a non artist writing songs in a group anyway the chorus on Bolingo Ya Charlot and the vocal by Eric is good but not good as the other Rumba song, about Ficarrè song what saves him in that song is the animation but unfortunately the animation is a bit wack and I think they should choose Cellulaire and Bin Laden forcing them to make a new crie with a few of partecipation by Matelo and Genta on the Seben of Ficarrè song. but for the rumba same speech as Bolingo Ya Charlot good but is dropping the level off of the album. As archos says is decent but an album like soyons serieux with Mpunda like generique and all atalakus finally doing their best and singers finally singing their heart out it should have been done better

The song is decent and actually had better sound than the other sebene songs.

I like the rhumbas and the other seben songs but all the generiques on this album were a flop and poorly recorded and executed. Genta needs to change his animation style, it's extremely boring and his voice is so becoming irritating for me. His chorus style of animation is too much. If I were JB's advisor or Artistic Director i would get rid of Genta, Pajo and Cellulaire and only remain with Ben Laden and Fusée.

The song credited to Roger Ngandu is a decent song it's unfortunate that on the final version they decided to use programmed instruments and mainly keyboard,the acoustic version was better so i was disappointed with the final song. Roger could not have composed the song,he simply bought it even the Secretary General of the band Kis Kisolekele was -cocredited with the song Champion Kapangala from the album Titanic.

i keep telling that to genta he is well capable of doing other styles but ever since biloko was a hit its like he convinces himself he has to stick to that and try to replicate his idol djouna's funny voices he sometimes did whereas he has loads of animation of other styles
but since jb is okay with that,it continues,since despite  the voice factor fans are dancing
and thats a big waste because genta gives impression he is losing his voice by overforcing funny "nuances" of rough voice,whereas his natural voice is still there,he has even developped ability to do tenor much better
this and how cellulaire got maintained for 10 years as the second atalaku show how much jb is not very interested in getting the best out of atalakus but rather be okay with the fact animation in itself is succesful;at least fusee's rise has changed that a bit

I hope Fusée is not suppressed because he has brought some energy. The generique Tetuka is just fantastic, i don't care much about the first generique Kindoki which has Genta because I don't like that ''biloko'' extended shit, am fed up of it because it goes on an on, it's like the way Fally used to do with ''oriengo'' ....when something is extended for too long it becomes a nuisance to the ears.

yes fusee seems to have nailed that 2nd spot forever now,bcbg took two atalakus only in their new year short ivory coast tour and it was him and genta,jb even wanted to take him to paris with those who went few days ago but he did not get visa,except cellulaire who is a bit jealous all the group is behind fusee
hopefully someone will convince genta to use his other skills because he is just wasting it big time,thankfully for example abraham in his album "directed" him into something different

Sly you've changed your tune I thought you liked Genta, but I agree if Genta carries on the way he is there's no easy way to defend him and he needs to change his style ASAP and why is Cellulaire still in the band he's a passenger and a liability

I liked Genta till now when i have realised he's stuck in the same spot,if he could go back to doing proper animation he started with not the group choruses he has started doing where he is screaming with some rough voice and he is being answered by the rest of the singers and then keyboards take over,i believe an ataluku should be versatile and lead the flow of music in sebene properly so that all instrumentalists reach their full potential moreover,like Brigade i am beginning to hate the indecent language in the animation he is sticking to,too much sexual stuff.

cellulaire  is almost out of the group,by the way talking about chai,genta had actually almost left with him,one of the donors backing chai gave him money to leave together but he refused he just helped out chai to meet a guy who could sell him instruments at a decent price,ficarre informed him jb was planning to offering him whats now his third house and  indeed two days after  jb came at rehearsals and handed him keys and houses papers secretly at the office, i am sure that news about getting another house changed his mind to refuse that money and wait for two more days at least,otherwise maybe he was co leader of a group now

that evergrowing dominance of sexual stuff mainly comes from animation writers they collaborate with,of course brigade has a long record already of that lol but its worse now,and the success those animation are having motivates them to continue,the way eclipse mososo gets so little recognition  says it all
