like i hinted in a previous post, there is a group of musicians who are making plans to leave bcbg together and form a band
 the reasons are the length jb is taking to release whereas album is ready and pressure from the guy they sold songs to, the fact jb wants only 19 songs on cd which "sacrifices" a couple of songs,which would be on digital sales and probably completely abandoned  promotion wise like bolingo ya charlot, another reason is how they do not even make national tours(anymore for one musician)
those musicians are from what i am being told, cellulaire,benj bass, gessan zakoko,didi kalombo and they are trying to lure with them a couple of other musicians,cellulaire lied he was seriously sick and the group got him a europe visa he actually went to look for people to help them in their project,and since  jb is not stupid either he started  suspecting something and  now those guys are less and less involved,but for now what is keeping them in the group is the fact they are not finding strong sponsors yet who believe in them and they still benefit from matolo in bcbg  which will obviously not be the same if they are out
so its status quo,they are "giving jb a little more time"  and at the same time,the likes of roger ngandu are there to inform jb often of what's planned
cellulaire is regretting how he rejected offers from his friend heritier and from koffi and how genta who used to be standing by him to make him participate on albums even when he has created nothing good is now focusing on fusee,nowadays if bcbg have to go even just in lubumbashi with two atalakus its genta and fusee,if three  genta fusee pajo

I hope this rebellion happens and hopefully more band members actually leave,it would be a blessing in disguise. I has been a while since i bought concert dvd's, it seems Didi Kalombo hasn't been involved much on stage right,why has he become frustrated so soon after returning from Europe?

My take...
Didi Kalombo is seeing age catching up ( who are his age mates) and he has not nailed first team spot. After Chai departure he did have the first team spot but did not flourish.Before he departs he needs to get one big sponsor otherwise join another band and get one of the leadership roles .

Gesan Zakoko flourished even went to Paris at Rio expense and was touted to replace Kibens but Msr Le Quado is now heavily being promoted and he had  floundered. (I like his song in BDM)

Benje Bass....probably he has waited for to long.(He was around with Patou Solo and Zygal yet he has not got the first position)

I also encourage this movement for the same reason Sly has alluded . Others who need to move include Modachaud Bin Laden and Soso.

First and foremost Archos, I would take your rumour with a pinch of salt since you hinted on the same last year. Nevertheless, let me contribute to this. I doubt strongly if this will happen since its not common in BCBG for such to happen. Using the theory of probability, it will not happen by at least 95% leaving a 5% chance. BCBG is not managed by command and control the way it is done in Maison Mere or QL. It is a band that condones laziness, idleness and promotes friendship above professionalism. Secondly, the rumoured breakaway, does not sell well to donors like Kinuani or Monsoh. If it were Nono Fuji, Abraham, Abel Des, Atshuda, Ficarre, I would be salivating by now expecting this to happen.

Now if it happens, it will be heart-breaking for pure blood bcbg lovers like me who do not support the band with cotton wool in my ears or a cloth rapped over my eyes. It will be sad because the old guys, that have slowed the band's success, will still be farting in the band.

the news has been confirmed by one of the main tv's of DRC they said 8 guys have left without naming them and that one who left applies for a return( padaché)
didi kalombo is from the fally ferre generation,even sligthly older than both i think and indeed his time has been restricted  he was meant to take over that chai place but instead metro arrived and abraham has been pushed to tenor to accomodate him in the starting 4 mic's(him fudji kibens jdl)
emo about the laziness thing,like i always said jb is not really directing bcbg  anymore for a while now,bcbg is ruled by kibens seguin and roger with ficarre and genta standing against them,jb is just there for "final decisions" like concert and tour lists,who gets a song and so on
its not even jb anymore who signs most of the contracts except sponsor ones like airtel or his renewal with primus, its either roger or seguin
he sometimes does not even rehearse for a month with the group prefering to work on his songs in home studio then come only to concerts
like i once said, the guy who deserves all the anger is not rio neither kibens they actually  treat the youngsters very well,its roger,the fact he has become like jb's best friend(and jb even calls him his little brother) got to his head and since jb lets him rule the group he does what he wants if you want to be valued in the group you have to please him

I knew there was a reason why I hated roger I just don't like his type he's an ass licker I hate his presence in concerts interviews anything he needs to be gone from the group I want him gone more then I want rio and kibens gone wtf is wrong for jb for keeping all these liabilities around and EMO is right its a band that cares more about friendship then professionalism and that is not good at all

You cant ran a band while listening to a non contributor in the name of roger plus others like kibense. Somehow i think the lesser devils, fans like it is with werra, are better. Few individuals are less objective and tend to stab behind others to please the boss...

Am being pressed for info on who has defected on my BCBG FB page. This info must be trending big. Am sure after Bangui concerts suspensions and removal may be on the way because JB must by now be knowing of this. I am watching to see how he handles it. Was Didi Kalombo song among those removed.

JB is better off without most old guys that surround him. His band can be adequately reorganized if he used his or somebody's independent mind.

Sleeping ovrer this rumour, and analysing the matter....i think the story could be true. My analysis is that some guys are not happy with the new recriuts who have found their way straight into the main lineup. And this is why i say kibense....jdl....rio etc have no normal brain. Otgerwise...they too would have left. Probably some of the old guards are behind this. I am salivating indeed. This news if true will be my celebration day. Long over due.

To me, the guys who want to leave are not the best in the team at all, i would be salivating if it was reported that Metro, Atshuda, Abram, Le Quado, Fudji, Fusée and Tolbert Solo leaving to form their own band because i know that is the only thing that can shake JB Mpiana and i know the team comprised of these i have mentioned are able to make if they formed a group.
