Werra is not a person that emotes, but at that time (1999) you could really sense that he was very jubilant about the massive success of Wenge Masion mere. But it was the beginning of his strong egoism, which led to the departure of Tata and Massela.
The grassroots/hardship beginnings of WMM gave them the most loyal fans and fan clubs. He had the likes of Photo Joel Mbetenge making sure he played in all the big concert halls.
I remember going to the JPS office; the whole building was marble, white leather, and gold. He went to great lengths to really spoil the artists signed to his label. Unfortunately, Mr. JPS was involved in some bad activities, which brought the whole operation down.
