This thread is not meant to overly praise or claim to be a fanatic of Fally Ipupa, but nevertheless, we have to give credit when it's due. Fally's ORIGINAL video has hit over 10 000000 views on Youtube. Not too many AFRICAN artists can claim this accolade (other than Jessy Matador' Decale Gwada). I salute him on putting something out there that people still watch. When Ferre, Fabregas or even Werra reaches this level with a video, i will equally praise them.

Best in Africa is debatable. He is at present the most popular francophone African artist. From pure popularity standpoint, Africans still prefer the dance music from Nigeria/Ghana/East Africa. Then you have the more traditional West African music, which has a very well established following by older African generations, Westerners, and even Asians who appreciate it for its cultural authenticity.

Matebu, most Afrian artists want Fally for featurings and call him and legend and even copy some of his stuff.

He is certainly one of the few artists who has develop a knack for a succeeding formula. He knows what it takes to get to the top and stay there. His formula is different from Ferre's although they are both good singers. But I have to suggest that Fally is Werra and Ferre is Koffi when it comes to showmanship.

Congratulations to him, this is one song i actually don't even have or like. I think what has propelled it is the choreography which most people steal for their wedding ceremonies as the choreography is just perfect and showcases the modern african vibe.
