[ i just feel sorry for his younger musicians who are really talented but have nothing much to show for it artistically as they are limited to just performing at concerts in Congo,they will suffer in future if they don't get the guts to leave and start solo careers even though that is risky business, it would be better for some of them to leave as a group and form bands like Les Marquis did then take on BCBG as their competitor to start with.

Again I ask this question..why is is hard to leave and join another band or form a group? A lot of these musicians can leave but they don't . Some have been playing second or third fiddle since early 2000. Chaiand Djino could have left with a few but no. Is it that they are paid well, comfortable with the status quo or scared?

This is exactly what i have been thinking of. But sadly jb wont leave a legacy of having trained artists.

yes emo and thats one of the reasons why i say roger ngandu is by very very very very far the guy to blame, jb has given him complete responsability of the media and promotion aspect which helped guys in other groups to build themselves a decent fanbase before leaving and the guy blocks the musicians he wants exposure all for himself,you can't imagine how much him and mosaka often argue to the extent that they almost fought few years ago because mosaka dared to ignore for two months his order not to promote too much the youngsters( fudji abraham djino and co back then)
and since he is a big hypocrite he  recently attacked musicians saying they are lazy guys who only care about having several girlfriends and so on,but forgets that a guy like atshuda has been suspended by him a couple of times  for going on tv to promote his song "lulendo" without his authorisation
the "star system" can not exist properly as long as a guy like roger is around because he'll try to convince jb that the guy will become too big headed and stuff like that,and since jb blindly trusts him  and calls him his new young brother...

At the moment it's because bands travel less abroad so most musicians probably now depend on allowances from concerts and handouts from the boss and his big fans and financiers with this in mind, I can conclude that JB's musicians are comfortable because JB is wealthy and is surrounded by wealthy fans including politicians so it is very likely that BCBG get good handouts especially that its known JB is generous, it's also one of the reasons most musicians went with JB Mpiana when Wenge Musica BCBG 4X4 ended. I watched an interview of Tutu Calludji with Ado Yuhe,Tutu alluded to that fact when he was asked why he chose JB instead of Werra who he said pushed the best out of him as an artist in Wenge Musica.

Jb does not uplift the fame of his boys. He does not promote them much like werrason and koffi do. So they fail to make it at solo level. And they fear to let go of jb. Can you imagine if abraham....nono fuji....atshuda....abel were with werrason?

yes that's what i am saying, that system does not exist in bcbg,for the reasons mentioned above,and for the fact jb himself is not really affected by all that, we criticize him day in day out but at the end of the day we still have same expectations from him than from other guys of that level,maybe things would change if something radical happened and there is like a wake up call

That is one problem but JB and BCBG's discography for the last 6/7 years has been beyond poor I wonder how people don't ask him questions no group album for 6 years no solo album for 16 years come on what is he really doing fine JB career is solidified but the youngsters they need to be shown his got talented bunch out there, I think an offshoot group do the both well but I point finger at Jb for a lack of effort and intent appalling no excuse

Today I don't buy this thing 'Delay for spiritual reasons' because even after the delays the albums released nowadays don't meet expectations. What is happening with this music? Has the so called 'spirits' lost power. Coming back to BCBG, Jb to me is the man to blame, Roger is an employee of Jb and if he is doing harm to the band then its JB to act. I wonder if JB is surrounded only by people who worship him even the so called financiers! What are they financing BCBG for if they're not engaging in meaningful production of music?

now that there is a "producer" officially what i am hearing is that it will be  in may ,jb has a copy of full album(and a back up with seguin) he just has to give to factories but he still is getting calls every day to wait for mabanga(and since he loves it lool)
he'll be back i think next week with roger to do a final mabanga session and will let roger here to follow the factories steps and go back with cds in kin when its over,he even shooted one clip here in his week he recently spent here

The reason why Werra cant get anyone from JB now is because their rivalry heat is now at 0 degrees Celsius. Had it been in 2000, or 1998, Werra would get such artists just to finish JB.
