i have always wondered , what franco  luambo would have thought about wenge ,  was he even aware of the wenge  movement?  was he already sick when wenge finally mad it national wide. ? have youngsters from wenge ever had a chance to meet him ?
if he was still alive , would wenge  have even made it to  the middle 90s?

Wenge came to prominence in Late 1988 with the song Mulolo an historical song and around that time Franco was basically ill, personally I don't know maybe he did know something and I don't think Wenge that group has ever met Franco, so probably no.
