I think that Anti-Terro was one of the best album on the year of his release, in this song you can see the perfect balance, melody and ace betweeen Rumba and Seben

probably the sound quality which was not powerful like alerte the same year or les marquis's album,other than that you take the same album with just a better sound quality its a top album every thing expect from a wenge album are reunited
it was done in the "poorest" studio of kin at that time then in south africa(coincidence or not some songs done in south africa sound a bit better)

Just say you were disappointed by the absence of Alain Mpela and is four songs he took,all of us BCBG fans were looking forward to the songs and we were hit hard to learn that he had left and he promptly released Intifada.

The sound on all the songs was good, it's just that the drums and bass guitar were a bit low. The drums especially the snare were suppressed but still Seguin played them well. All the other instruments including the shaker were audible especially the rhythm and solo guitars by all the 4 soloists.

On this Album sulutani lost a lot, because if you remember the rival album Alèrte General won Koras and JB wasn't even mentioned this album had great songs like Lekasopo, BK Le Senateur temperature, that because of the poor recording and the poor videos hasn't had the kind of promotion that needed

There are other excellent Congolese and other musicians who have never been mentioned or nominated for a single Kora award but that doesn't mean they are not good enough, Kora was never a credible organisation, they were discredited and that's why they went quiet and only got back in the limelight the last few years again.

JB Mpiana simply suffers from extremely poor marketing as a result of his poor business model and extremely poor marketing strategy. He is not a serious businessman where music is concerned but he is certainly a damn good singer and entertainer.

The recording on the album wasn't poor,it was very good sound except for the suppressed bass and snare drums which is just down to arrangement.

Come oooooooon you can't say this album was shit the generique was good and it has some excellent songs, the only shit thing about this album was the recording if it wasn't for that this could be next to alerte generale for best album in all the awards of the world

To me Soyons Serieux has been the poorest and the least played ,apart from a few songs here and there, Soyons Serieux i wrote off. Anti Terro has several songs I like, I didn't like the generique much and it was quickly silenced by Alerte Generale and others but overall the other songs were excellent including some slow ones like Ezau,Guy Mbuala etc
Tell me,what's wrong with this song with Mboka Liya on lead,no song on Soyons Serieux matches this one by Richard Mukena.

I can agree on the excellent songs on anti terro but you can't say it is better than soyons serieùx they kinda balance each other, it is true that JB Mpiana alone songs like bolonia and so were horrible but songs like Ezala Zala, Mbua, Mombamba, Chèrie Enlever were excellent

I didn't say Soyons Serieux had bad songs but personally I found the album boring and wrote it off,i only play a few songs here and there. I have to skip especially the generiques,the entire album has poor recording much that some instruments are not even audible. Most of the slow songs are really good and they are the ones i listen  to starting with Mombamba, Mbua, Sanguluma,Code Moral etc but with Anti Terro,the only songs i skip are Clin D'oeil and Kolo Martyrs the rap song done by the female dancers.

What about Biloko and Telecommandè they were great back up generiques to mpunda
