sorry if this is said in a ferre topic but this " the song for x or y donor" thing have killed congolese music, in the past the songs had a lot of meaning then somebody it was eventually dedicated to,nowadays its more of a money contest and each "pretre" has to have one song in album of all the stars, and the guys even almost decide the lyrics themselves sometimes
yes indeed i understand that point but what pisses me off is that there was farrrrr more message in the songs done for people as a sign a friendship than when it became a whole business,i was listening to reddy's music today and there were songs for didi kinuani, hippo tums and co but these were classics, today we have songs sold up to over 30000 dollars yet songs are good at best surely the level of songwriters has also dropped big time
What style are u talking about. Wenge musica played ballads but they had some space for sebene parts. Give me a very good ballad ferre Gola has played since 100 kilo and amour interet?..i am raising dust looking. When it comes to generics, he limits the number and those few ones, 90% are dust bin songs. The only way ferre Gola will redeem himself is to go back to his history.
