Archos you know in what situation Congo is, so the donors are the guy who are making effort for the congolese music to keep going, so they have to do that, no Europe shows, very few cd bought because of piratery, yes it is bad because there is no more message in the music but they need to feed their kids

surely the level of songwriters has also dropped big time

Songs like Papito and Augustine come to mind for superb songs that were dedicated to a bigshot donor, but nevertheless had a great message, which made them classics.

Nowadays they get the songs from the same pool of songwriters (El Dorado and co.), then they simply change some words to the donor's name and the donor's slogans. Listening closely, you can tell they're reading the lyrics off a piece of paper in one or two takes, so there's no passion in the singing like songs of yesteryear.

Furthermore, the structure of the songs are so similar that you at times think you've repeated a song. Boite Noire had some good rhumbas, but the acoustic guitar arrangements of the songs were too similar, in my opinion.

The style of putting one generique if he really need it a second one and the last one rumbas, the subject is not about the fact of Good or Bad rumbas made by Férre but the fact that he will not change what he has done until now so one generique and the rest ballads and rumbas, I only translated what he said, the fact he will make one generique and rumbas for the rest doesn't touch me to me is better because his atalaku section sucks, and I prefer a guy outside of Wenge Musica who goes with his own style like Férre, Héritier, Robinio, Fabregas are doing, he really don't care to chase Fally or to be the best internationally, he is good like he is now, so I don't know what is your point.
