i wish congolese artists would stop this trend of having so many songs on their album. otherwise this is a strong effort from maison mere.

Damn, Werra said don't call me faux chanteur ever again with Ali Mayimona. Rhumba propre with Sarah solo killing it!

The generiques deliver and Kelvis Nkoyi is an old school sebene song Werra was famous for

Kelvis Nkoyi is a lovely sebene track. The animation by Anti Balles and Makaba's solo guitar is quite impressive.

My God! This is music! This is an album! Werrason has tirumphed over all the crisis plaguing Maison Mere at the moment with this album. It will make a lot of people very quiet. The King of the Forest is skill King.

Has there been any album out like this? With such variety in composition? This reminds me of Mokobe's "Mon Afrique" and Fally's "Droit Chemin". Too much class. Thoroughly enjoying it so far.

By the way what is the name of the woman who sings short lyrics and phrases in the album and mostly in agreement or repetition with Werrason? And it is just that one woman or there are more?

Zanga luketo is on repeat... I really like it when werrason does these types of songs..very catchy I'm really impressed by this effort it's worth the money... ambulance and the new atalaku killed it... I wished there were more vocals from the band members.. please next time less use of keyboards more acoustic guitar... Coreen is missed

Kelvis Nkoy is my song. I love it. It makes me  almost start missing  Arnake and Olivera in MM because they sing so well here.
Ali Mayimona is very nice song. Especially the solo guitar and Werra sung very well. Does Sarah play in any of the generiques or it's just Bikorino?

I'm not big on cross over songs and the afro pop kind but I am enjoying DJ very much. Malembe is not bad either.

There are not too many chants on the generique and it makes it easy for the few that made the album to stick.

1. Kelvis Nkoyi
2. Ali Mayimona
3. Se na Se
4. Charge
5.Femme Modele
6. Diemba
That is the ranking for me. I skipped the intenational songs listening in bits hoping that they would change into sebene and when they didnt seems is the last time i will entertain them. Not to say they are crap but am a strict rhumba and sebene guy so i will leave them to million others to enjoy as i feast on my favourite 6 above. Many people dislike Arnake but he is quite a good singer. Listen to his vocals in Nkoyi. And Cafe Roum can really nuance(52 Gigas). Finally, i did not hear Goldberg in any of the cris. There is Ambulance(he is fire) Diego on a small bit in one song and of course the new atalaku in Nkoyi. Some say e is called Anti-Balles and one other member said he is Congo Central. But I think Congo Central was a Clintonesque. Overall i love his voice in Nkoyi. He does not sound like CNN or Extra's Arafat but for some illogical reason whenever i listen to him i hear echoes of the two!!
