this is not a music topic and not starting like a happy topic but i had to get it out of my chest
way before internet becoming global let alone the forums i have been to i had lost my first son to some cardiac condition which has caught some different generations of my family and from then i had a bit of issues but i was kinda fine with time maybe because i was younger and said to myself i'd have thanks to God other children but something was building inside me and totally exploded  in 2008 when i lost another to same issue and it coincided with a almost desert surrounding outside music friends and vieux who are for most in kin and later forums then the odd friends coming back sometimes
and the forums(this one and its "father" who we know) helped me one hell lot, first with english, i have surely spoken english 10 times more here than in my daily life( strange aint it lol)
second with recovering confidence to go back to work and try to have as normal life as possible, and thanks God i have had my little bad boy,i have done some therapy too but this forum has probably been my best one so i just wanted to thank you all my brothers and sisters
you have brought back to be the other most important thing to life, aside health, which is happiness
at this moment my neighbour is not there,so i can put music a tiny bit loud and try to replicate the most complicated koyimbiko ever

but you wont see ohhh (this is the best cardio exercise i swear :D :D :D :D :D :D :D)

Thank you for sharing Maitre @Archos aka "Internet"; what you shared is the most difficult loss and cannot imagine I could endure that. I've also suffered very hard days - particularly last decade, but always had this forum to look forward to at the end of the day for therapy. Every day I learn something new (good or bad) or reminded of great times/music that made me the Congolese music fan I am.

Knowing many of you guys for the better part of 10-15 years in some forum capacity - you guys are family to me. Really glad to have our brother @Mfumu Vata back. Hopefully our brother @Manzambi can make his return soon.

And also special dedication to our lost sister @Ms Bazu; may her kind soul continue to rest in peace.

Archos your story was a very touching story, may the souls of your two little boys continue to rest in peace with God.

Here we are a family, I know that we all can have problems and other important difficulties in our private life but I want to say to all of you that whoever needs to speak is invited to speak here (with an OT thread) or can DM me or any member of the forum. Dont stay alone with your worries please.

Archos thanks for sharing as this issue is affecting so many black men but due to our communities expecting us yo be strong men we thing we will be considered weak but this is killing many of us and people talking openly about it will help. I know a Zimbabwen guy who is releading songs soonabout this issue and the more of us talknly about this issue the better.

It takes a lot of courage to open up on situations like this but admission of a problem is the way towards healing.

Depression is as old as the Bible. Remember King Saul? May God grant you strength to persevere and see you through.

As for the rest of us, none is immune from this and we should borrow a leaf from our brother Archos by looking for something we enjoy engaging in that would take our minds off some of these situations, opening up to trusted companions and seeking help where we can.

Courage Yaya. Good to hear you overcame this silent killer of a condition. I count it a blessing to be among you and all the other forum members who keep this forum alive. I hope one day i can put a face to most of y'all people here. You wont believe it but i read different people's posts and comments in the imaginary voice of the author of the comment or post. ;D

Last year our communtity of Congolese people in Italy lost a member a beloved friemd he was only 14 and about to turn 15, there are no words to describe the pain, the disbelief and the sadmess of seeimg someome younger than you amd with all of his life ahead dying. I feel you brother. I still don't have sons or daughters but I can feel your pain.
I have battle with depression and suicidal thoughts when I was younger due to bullying and abuse by my mom and supposed "Friends" and I know how it is wonderful to have someone or a group of people you cam talk to. I hope you are alright now
