He’s literally gonna kill his credibility and destroy the original versions of those songs. Come up with something new, and his album literally just came out why not just promote that? Is there literally no one in his staff or camp telling him that this is a terrible idea??

Tbh Zaiko does this all the time, how many times they used Vimba, and many others dances in the years, Koffi just want to be going along with trends and tbh when he does a me song even rhumbas it isn't like people listen to it jt is only the generiques, can anyone here name me one rhumba by Koffi in the last 5 years? A new one not a Remix I can't

Eh... Vieux Rambo is really crashing out

He's basically destroying his legacy. He seems so surrounded by yes men that I don't see anyone stopping him/

Koffi should've retired, played his old songs in prestigious hall and VIP concerts and pushed a new Quartier Latin that he would've supervised.

This is getting sad.

You right bro. I did not even see Sens Inverse

I wonder if Dikoel will get mad. But he always seems like a chill guy. So he might just not care.

I heard that Koffi and Do Akongo are now in bad terms, because of some interviews he did last years, where he explained that he doesn't get rights from SACEM for his songs Coucou, Kot Kot, Avion, Spagetthi, Automate, Fois Cent and Sens Inverse. Koffi was apparently not happy with it, which is also why he hadn't backed anymore for a moment for Europe-concerts/rehearshals. But maybe it are just rumors, because people like to talk.

About Koffi doing a remix of Coucou and Sens Inverse, maybe that some donors gave him money to remix the song with the songs being dedicated to them and/or some reworked lyrics. Like the way he messed Sans Anesthesie up for Mbokani in 13ème Apotre and the song Bibina he gave to Duc Herode (I forgot what title of the remix-song is). If I remember well,  when Koffi was working on Legende, he said that he would not record albums anymore and just release albums with remix-versions of his old hits and that he was already working on a remix of Aspirine

I understand Koffi, he does not have to prove anything and if he doesnt want to do a new solo album its ok but why doesnt he give us a new QL Album and put 2-3 own songs in… thats better than remix to x song for x donor.

There may be truth into that because Koffi didn’t call Do Akongo for Hippodrome rehearsals or maybe he did and Do didn’t answer.
I don’t understand why donors want to buy remixes to classic, remixes are rarely and in the case of Koffi NEVER better than the original

Koffi has really lost plot and any sense of creativity - the second hand embarrassment is getting worse by the passing day.

It’s getting reeealllly hard to convince millennials that Koffi was the man back in the 90’s-early 2000’s. My friend said Koffi doesn’t have the motion to sell out Hippodrome and the mpiaka will have warriors affirming he is finished. I decided not to fight the point

Either Koffi's trolling, he's running out of ideas or he's reliving the past in the worst way. With the way his music has been sounding today, I don't see how this will excite anyone.
