Do you know more information, why they wanted to form a new academia and who wanted to follow?

If you luck back, Fally we really had the luck with him. Everything could be different with academia 2 or staying in QL or going to WMMM when Ferre came to QL

In hindsight it was a good decision that Fally refused, because look at what happened to Sam Tshintu and Bouro Mpela.

At least Sam and Bouro got an successful album and tour from forming Academia, Viagra was the launch pad for Pitchou Concorde's career as a soloist, and many of the members settled in Europe as a result.

Fally, Ferre, and others had two to three songs in their name, they did the successful venues, and cultivated an aura around them. Fally probably learned from the mistakes of his peers (Montana, Suzuki, Willy Bula, ect) that tried to go solo prior and exploited certain journalists who felt sidelined by Koffi. I was a little young then, but 2006-09 was the perfect storm to break away from the major group

I’m talking about the aftermath of Academia. short term it worked long term it didn’t work out for Sam and Bouro whilst they were stars in Quartier Latin they didn’t end up with the solo career everyone expected from them. In my opinion Academia is the best off shoot group or at least one of the best because of the long term impact they made that people still refer to them.
If Fally formed an academia only God knows if he would be in the position he would be in today but we’ll never know.
Willy Bula didn’t make any mistakes he just disappeared from the scene after he left Zaiko he didn’t try to go solo.

I was expecting Naty Lokole to be part of the journalist? What happened, beef still ongoing?

they seem to have forgiven each other,but just are still distant,probably also because of the staff around fally,with nathy who was having by a countrymile the closest role as a journalist,certainly a lot of them wanted that spot so they'll do everything to keep a certain distance

I was really surprised to see Helene Kalema. Because Helene used to be pro-Ferre, back when the rivalery between Fally and Ferre started and she was often attacking Fally. I wonder when Fally and her reconciled and if she fell out with Ferre
