During Nyoka Longo's arrest in the ngulu affair in November 2003, Zaïko Langa Langa had already spent 14 months in Europe. This was quite a long time, since most bands would stay in Europe for 8/7 months when it was long. In that era, only Academia spent 10 months(2000-01)  and  King Kester Emeneya stayed as long as 21 months in Europe with his band (2001-03). What was the reason for Nyoka Longo to remain in Europe for such long period before getting arrested ?

the version i heard back then was that ya jossart had taken a lot of money of ngulu without taking them on tour so he was receiving threats,because some guys went to see an authority who was angry with him already over a woman thing,i remember even late nono got threatened because he travelled with a ngulu passport as he finally made it to the tour
