i like the easy style not the complicated one....in the compicated style they tend to make mistakes...

I think it goes with experience. Senior soloists like Makaba, Roga Roga,,Mboka Liya ,Lebou and others don't make silly mistakes even when playing too fast, am sure you saw at one concert,Roga Roga even put his guitar behind his back but played without mistake, that's how he's mastered guitar and the art of soloing, the rest like Kimbangu, Arc en Ciel,Flamme etc are still perfecting their art.

Personally, I prefer more complicated sebene but not chopped up sebene, just more power on the drums and crisp clear solos with a lot of signatures with not many changes in tempo that's why when I listen to music, I play Wenge Maison Mere generiques and skip most songs but when it comes to BCBG, I skip the generiques and listen to the other songs,with BCBG, what I consider to be proper generique is Quel est ton problem, Kiyunguzuna and the other primus generiques otherwise the rest including Mpunda are very poor generiques and I usually skip them.
If only BCBG could stick to the formular used on Quel est ton problem or at least to this

Santiago is another excellent soloist but is too clean on the guitar like the likes of Makaba, Pathy Moleso, Patou Solo, Japonais etc, Werrason has made the right choice by picking Dady Bola and am sure JB Mpiana is regretting not having recruited Dady who was a regular visitor at BCBG and played on stage twice with fans demanding that JB recruits him, the man had left Papa Wemba so should have been ok to get him just like the case with Boguys Bompema who had left Papa Wemba's band and later joined BCBG.

Yeah, I remember very well what he said last time, he said he was pondering on what to do but he did not state clearly if he had left Viva or was forming a band, he just said " at the moment am just home" then after a few months returned to Viva, he realised it wasn't easy being a band leader as you say archos.

This guy is one of my best soloists. Contrary to what sly analysed here, I think bola Is not suitable for maison mere style. He is a cool giutarist that would do well in bcbg. I gave him a ten star after listening to the song maria by wemba. The guy is a good giutarist. Wenge MM don't do solo licks in slow tracks and this will starve bola of skill.

Guys, I don't like to sound rude but what I can advise is that if you don't know something it's best to listen to those who know. You EMO say Papa Wemba is not a good singer, you EMO say Maitre Ficarre is the best soloist at BCBG, do you expect anyone to take you serious when you talk about Clan Viva musicians like Dady Bola whom you hardly know.
Dady Bola is an excellent soloist capable of doing anything that Kapaya and Kimbangu can, I have given a few examples but you're still arguing. There is no one who trains soloist specifically for Maison Mere, all soloists are made to adopt the style that Werrason prefers, they are ordinary guitarists even Flamme Kapaya was a rhythm guitarist before he was elevated and got to where he was at Maison Mere.

Sly, respect my opinion. I know daddy bola and I know his style. I did not say he can't play like flam. I aid his style is best in bcbg. On ficarre, never dd I say he is the best in bcbg, I said he is fine on solo than patou solo. But again that's my opinion.

I always respect people's opinions but some opinions I brush and some call for the writer to be rebuked for instance when you say that Ficarre is better than Patou yet the whole world knows by listening that Patou is the best and the reason why he's the head soloist and plays most of the songs at BCBG, I would also give the example of Flamme vs Japonais, we all know who the best soloist is between the two.
One thing I can tell you about guitarists is that it is easy for the to change their styles but the thing is that each guitarist has his preferred style and identity, they don't like copying,if a small boy can go to Maison Mere aged 13 and play Kapaya's style what would stop a seasoned soloist like Dady who doesn't even need to prove himself much as his previous works are all there to sample.
I like joking about Ficarre but on a serious note, even Ficarre can play like Kapaya if he wants to, it would take him a long time to catch up on that style but it's because BCBG's style of sebene is relaxed and mid tempo so there has been no need by BCBG soloists to play their solos very fast,the same goes for Viva soloists, Papa Wemba's sebenes are for mature people hence a bit slow but that doesn't mean his soloists are slow.

There's a difference between knowing and thinking that you know but then again you are entitled to your opinion just don't force it on us. Thiery hands Bob Solo the Ibanez, my Lingala is Nil but I don't think Werra asked him to bring Fender the next day . If Werra can air a teenager's tryout why not Daddy's, something is a miss. You can't pull wool out of our eyes how will anybody try out for Mopao,Jb,Wazekwa and Werra and then decline to join any of the top dawgs
