Marie Paul and Kofi Olomide, helped Werra during the separation of Wenge, with one clear motive, to weaken  Jb Mpiana who at the time was riding high with the success of Feux D Amour. They wanted to have two weakened Wenge. However to their surprise just like COVID 19 has mutated and start to infect human, Werrason became too Big and a threat to their Domination and they had to find a way to contain him. And the spelled the end of Marie Paul, it was now all about Werra. in the early 2000s the completion was now between Werra and Kofi.

Oh this is easy!
Let's look at the Olympia show.
Before the "Belo belo" dance happens there's a part where everyone gathers around to "praise" the guitarist!

You have Lebou during the Miss De Miss sebene giving his all when being presented and you have Felly during the Ultimatum sebene playing a few boring notes when being presented.

Lebou's part: 47:10
Felly's part: 1:52:52

This is not a good comparison, may be some list song they have played as some of us do not really know which song was played Labou or Felly, although I like felly guitar on Skol Longitima, the only song I know that was played by him

Crap from Werra, he is tired of Music, that is why he tried politics. Don't expect anything better from him, lets us push for the young generation to take over and take our beloved music forward with Gusto, it has been a long time since I was excited by a new release. still listen to the oldies. May be I am wrong.

1. Soloa Bien
2. Kibuisa Mpipa
3. Force D Intervention Rapide (Would have been number one if it was not for the quality)
4. Alerte General
5. Temognage
6. A la queue leu leu (I was a DJ and a Radio Presenter by then, but couldn't pronounce the name) After the success of Zenith I had hope the Koimbi Ko Album to be a Bomb, but it disappoint a bit.
7. Tindik Lokito
8. sous Sol (The générique is one of the best)

Fere is a better singer than Fally, Fally has better looks

Talented singer, but he doesn't have the image and attitude of a solo star. Not everyone has it

You are correct, he has the voice, but he lacks other attributes of a Singer, the very first time I saw Wenge Muicia BCBG video, was a Live Concert. the first musician to attract me was JB Mpiana, the second was Werra, the two together with Makaba were more charismatic and that is why they are the most successful, only that Makaba was an instrumentalists.

Music pays if you manage to become a solo artists not otherwise, for Congolese Music the leaders take 90 percent of the income. In Tanzania Diamond has joined the billionaire club, through Music. He owns a Radio and Television station that has employed top journalists, he has recently bought a 3 star hotel, has a mansion in cape town and 11 mansions in Tanzania. But his dancers and other members of his team are still anguishing in poverty.

@CM PRINCE

Agreed, not even Alain Mpela could escape the BCBG curse of failed solo career and he was the most missed member of the group.
Alain has himself to blame cause he had everything to succeed but at the same outside people sabotaged his career for different reasons and also sleeping with other people’s wives loool

No, he was not aggressive enough.

JB is very soft, and does not push his musicians, he pampers them a lot, and that is why they never leave. Werrason and Kofi are tough, they push their musicians to the limit, they make them work hard. They divide and rule and apply all kind of forces to make their musicians perform. I am sure Ferre would have ended like Alain Mpela if he had stayed with BCBG

That is why they don't like Innos, although he has represented their country so well, the first artist to reach a threshold of 70 milion viewers on you tube .

These two generics face us a chance to compare two of the most successful atalakus of the Ndombolo Era, I really liked Caludgi but after Pentagone he changed his voice a bit, that I didn't like. Theo Mbala although not as creative as Caludgi as he copied most of his cries was very energetic in Salanoki and Copinage. Your views on the two?

Jesus lets hope this is just rumors cause it can be a end of career to someone....... Mmm no it cant be. Kakol

Mpiana left with the whole of the band, Werra Managed to create Maison Merre, which was a force to reckon, then Bill, Fere, DJT left and he bounced back with Alert Generally, lest we forget Adolph and Masala. There are countless of Musicians in Congo who are dreaming to join Maison Mere. It is only that JB and Werra are now doing music mostly for passion. Otherwise no one can match their success among the current crop of musicians.

it is evident that age has taken its toll on Werrason, he has lost his voice, if you watch this you see how good and powerful  his voice was

I am still enjoying this, at around 35 minutes, Didier Masala signalled  something to JB, who whispered to Werrason. Wera looked pissed before he went to have a word with Masala, I guess Masala was asking for Money  ;D

I have been saying it here on countless times that we should not expect anything of note from the likes of Extra, Wenge and Kofi, they started very young gave us the best music, but they don't have the same hunger and drive, its time for the young generation to take over.
